The doulasPlus founder, Linda Bennett, mother of 3 and grandmother of 2, has been active in Birth and Reproductive care in various capacities since the mid-1970s. Linda has over 20 years of experience supporting natural vaginal birth in the home, in birth centers, and in the hospital. She has been an active supporter of VBACs since the late 1970s when she attended her first VBAC birth.

Committed to reproductive autonomy, Linda supports labor and birth the way the laboring person wants to be supported. This may include the use of hospital options for pain relief and support for medically-recommended or elective repeat Cesarean sections. 

Each family is different with differing goals, wants and desires. Linda strives to understand and provide her expertise to the family in achieving their birth their way.
